I just got off the phone with the owners of Flames and they are there to stay. K-mart is gone and the plans call for a strip mall as of right now. There is an issue at the moment with the lighting due to the fact that K-mart had main control of the light but they are resolving that.


Socal Muscle Car Club of Northridge is staying at flames. Anyone else who wants to joins us and the other car guys there Friday night feel free. The Classic car guys are usually there a lot earlier then we are and start to leave at about 8 just as we start to arrive but that just means more parking for us.

We just lost Ricky & Ronnies they closed the end of last year. With more Westbound members in the valley now we may have to plan a meet up some time.

Also since we lost LACR, is partly why I organized invasion so we can have a 1/4 drag day. been a while since I've seen you guys. Ever get that 383 in?

No, I ended up selling the bird and getting a 5.0. It is fun, easy to work on and cheap as hell for parts but I am planning on getting a F-body or a Vette in the future.

I've still got it. Been a while since I was last on LS1Tech so selling it has not been top priority for me. Back when I posted it I really needed the money and now I don't need it as bad. If someone wants it I'll let it go as I am fresh out of the F-bod's.

It used to get dead around 9pm so that's when we would roll in. As of last Friday it is now going strong until 11pm (people saw us and decided to stick around later now). Of course now we keep it going until at least 12am or later then roll out for food somewhere...

The big prob for us at bobs is the parking situation over there is usually grim at best. But we still make it out over in that direction once every other month.

We generally have no problem fitting 13-15 (at one time) f-bodies in the lot.... at about 9:30-10ish we start moving closer together or "under the lights".

But i agree, at times it tough to find a spot at all...that's why we get there a bit later, and 9:30-10 seems to be a reasonable time to find ample parking.
