Question $1000 to spend

Need some help. I got some money to spend and don't know what to get. I don't really NEED anything, but would like a lot. I can either get a set of Eibach springs, Bilsteins, and a panhard bar.....or a set of headers, and y pipe. Any suggestions or ideas would be great. Thanks

If all you have is in your signature, spend some money on a real CAI and headers/y-pipe.

Or go the suspension route and get some springs and shocks with an adjustable panhard.

You can pick up a set of pacessters for $470, Y-pipe for $130, and a nice Comp cam for $250-300. That's the route I would go. Or you Intake, Full exhaust and 4.10's! The gears make a hell of a difference.

Headers for sure. Check out the Parts Classified Section, there are a couple of sets of LPP Headers for sale that are brand new and you can't get them from LPP until the next batch is available.

To get the most out of a Cam swap he would prlly spend the whole $1000 on the valvetrain stuff he would need. New springs, rockers, etc...

Well do you want to go faster or make your car drive/handle better? You have about enough cash for either one.

HP route: LTs/ORY + intake. Since unless you go with Kooks you would have some leftover, I'd consider adding some lower control arms.

handling/ride route: Koni shocks/strano springs/adjustable panhard. This would go just a hair over budget. Could be done cheaper with KYB AGX shocks and still be a big improvement.

You could go with a TNT Force 2 Nitrous plate system for the LT1. I have used nitrous on my Camaro and Corvette LT1.

I don't have any gears for sale but I would strongly recommend changing your stock ones out!

Link to said kit and other parts that might help you:

True, but you don't have to buy new roller rockers and all, but the LT4 hot cam kit is right around $500, with the with the pacesster long tubes and the ory pipe he would be just over budget, unless he had to pay for labor for the install.
