Default Intake manifold or headers?

I just got a 99 Camaro SS and I already got a GMMG catback, SLP lid/MAF put on. I'm thinking of buying some longtube headers and Y pipe or a Fast intake. Which one would better to get with the few mods I have now? My goal is to have just bolt ons. Or should I spend my money elsewhere first? Thanks in advance.

No need for a fast intake until you do heads and/or cam. Have you seen the mod guide in the 'external engine' section, lots of good info:

I'd personally do headers. If nothing else the car will ******* growl while you're saving money for the new intake

I would go for new headers and y pipe. I had those installed at the same time and it made a much bigger difference than the intake/catback. A lot faster and sounded better. I wouldn't mess with the intake manifold till you get those and a cam.

There's no reason for a intake ,till you can get the air out, Get the headers first. You exhaust is a restriction.

Like stated above, get the headers. For the price of a FAST intake you can get headers and a cam

first off you prolly should stick the stock MAF on aftermarket MAFs never run right your car is going to run rich then lean and back and forth, headers and the intake will compliment each other personally i would go with an ls6 intake theres only a couple horse difference and your only gonna spend half the money plus the ls6 can still be port matched to your heads. As for headers once again theres only a couple horse difference between the upper end products and the lower end products, i go with pacesetters here they are engineered to fit and fit right without alot of hassle but your going to need a y pipe with them, or any other header for that matter. your car def will sound better with the headers so its whatever you wanna do with your money but def do both in time, oh and get a tune for them also and you will gain even more

I'd say go headers and a y-pipe. I just put this set on my car a couple weeks ago.

its maybe the best bargain out there cause you get headers and a y-pipe for less than most headers. my car sounds sick now and I definately feal the differance. only go with these though if you dont care about emissions. I got rid of all the emissions equipment on my car as well.
