Gaskets for Dart heads
Hi guys just wanted to see what gaskets you are using with the Dart heads? Someone had told me they use a special intake gasket. Part numbers would be good intake gaskets, head gaskets can I get a thinner head gasket since they are 58cc to bump up the compression? Also do I need the square exhaust gaskets or will the D ports be fine? Thanks in advance. Also are these heads setup to use a stock length pushrod I already have chrome moly 7.2s going to check them when we install but would like to have most of my parts up front to do the install!

Couple questions.
Are you using the Darts on a stock bottom end, or are you 355/383 etc.? What compression are you shooting for?
D-port header gaskets work fine. I highly recommend the Felpro 1406s. Nothing but great success with them.
You answered your own question about the pushrods. You should measure once you have them installed - chances are slim that stock-length pushrods will work.

Exhaust ports on those heads are square.
I used a set of square gaskets and it worked perfectly.
Intake gaskets are standard LT1 gaskets.
Head gasket selection depends on the application, but you have the same options as any other LT1 head.
