Default Finished Installing Jet Hot LT's, ORY, & Magnaflow

FINALLY!!! Dave and I have completed installing the rescent mods to his 98 Z28. It began with a great deal @ WS6store.com on Jet Hot LT's. Next he decided on a Jet Hot ORY and Magnaflow Catback from byunspeed.com. Then found a set of NGK TR55GP's and MSD Wires from ccperformanceparts.com and a Mufflex LS1 Bumpstop for the Y-Pipe from mufflex-performance.com. And last but not least, passed thru the eye of the needle installing a set of Prothane Motor Mounts from Speedinc.com. Thank you again to all of you.

Now, if you would like to see our progress and completion of the project you can check out the following videos at youtube.com. (Mosty sound bytes of the exhaust, but thats what we wanna see and hear anyway, right?!)

Hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

looking good and sounding good. but for the love of the muscle car gods, remove the mud flaps. with the poly motor mounts, the y-pipe bumpstop won't be needed.

oh and...shine on you crazy diamond.

Not exactly. The tips are welded to the pipes that attach to the exits on the muffler.

LOL. Music is one tool that is necessary in all things, most especially when working on a vehicle. =-)

Thanks for the compliments. We've been working on this for a while. (Mostly due to waiting for parts.) Good to know the work doesn't go unappreciated.

Sorry guys, what we like to call "Splash Gaurds" or "Performance Flaps" gotta stay. Too many gravel roads around here and it gets tracked onto the paved roads EVERYWHERE. Gotta do something for a preventative measure to save on rock chips. Also I don't really like a bunch of rubber down the side of my quarter panel. And you ALL know exactly what I'm talking about. >=-)

Thanks for the kind words. The car isn't mine. I just haven't talked Dave into getting a new Air Lid yet. I think first he'll be purchasing subframe connectors and a T/A Underbody Brace Combo. The ORY is in the way to reinstall the factory brace. It's kinda gay anyways, being a stamped piece of steel.

LOL. Yeah isn't that awesome? Dave's having a friend of his polish them. Kinda resembles a skull-no eyes in the sockets. One bonus: the car runs REALLY COOL. Never have to worry about overheating.
