Default max traction for 750rwhp launch - how could that be ?

as title says , i'm looking for wheel/tire combo for my 02 trans am (OEM brakes - moser 12 bolts rear end 3.4 ratio - lowerd 1.3" front 1.5" rear - m6 built trany)

ALSO i have all the suspension parts needed

and to be hounest , i didn't imagine my self before hitting the 200hp NOS on my ls3 427ci with a hell launch from a dig
and i belive that it's not impossible to do it
so what's the best i can do for that ?

i was thinking to get a 15x10 rear wheels with Mickey Thompson ET Drag Slicks 28 x 11.5-15 and i'm woundering if that was a good choice for me

so any suggestions on that would be appreciated

Put a set of these on there: Billet Specialties

Honestly though if you're worried about hooking up I'd get a better shock, QA1s, etc, and then yank the front sway bar, get some squat action in there. Being that low I bet it's hard to hook up, I know it is real hard for me being almost 2" lowered in the front and 1.7" in the back, damn near impossible to hook up from a dig.

I would do a 28x12.5 would work good. For some reason the contact patch on the 28x11.5 is really narrow on the et streets(comapred to a 26x11.50).

and will I have to do the BFH and roll the fender for 28" tires ?

26x11.5 and 28x11.5 notice how much narrower the 28" is.

MT Et Street (DOT slick)

thanks dude

BUT i think i didn't get it well
should i understand that the wide 26" is much better than the narrow 28" for more traction ?
coz it's known that the wider tire , the better traction you got
unless you are prefering the 26" for another reson !!

i can see that the 26" is little wider if i'm not wrong

and still i don't know if i have to do the BFH and roll the fender for 26" tires ?

I would run a 28x12.5-15 M/T ET Street. They will fit with a tad bit of BFH on the wheel wells, and with a 15x10 rim.

i made approx 750.. 408 on 2 kits. I had a hell of a time hooking even with 325 radials and tuned suspension. 6 speed car. This is on the street though.

Do you have adjustable LCAs? I don't see rel0c brackets either.

Prep your street better, and use a bias ply tire on the street.

why bias ply ??
i heared that they grow up and hit the fender on high speed , is that really true ??

what about those ET drag ?? they are bias ply also if i'm not wrong
http://www.ws6project.com/user_stor/...oducts_id=1128

will i face any problems with those ??
will they fit ??

Nah was just tryin to steer you away from the 28x11.5, and have ya look into the 28x12.5. Et Street is DOT(street legal slick) Et Drag is a full race slick. You shouldnt have to use the BFH to much either way.

A bias ply tire will grow with tire speed. If you use a 28x12.5-15 ET Street or 28x10.5-15 ET Drag, you will still be fine with the tire growth, as long as your fender lips are rolled. With the power your making, I'd go with a 28" tire over a 26" tire, for the fact that the 28" will allow for more sidewall, giving you a better chance at hooking. You can make a radial work on the street too, with your suspension dead on. But it is easier IMO to leave hard on a bias ply tire on the street, because they have a thinner sidewall.

That's because the 11.5" is measured at the widest part of the tire and a tire that's 2 inches taller on the same sized rim is going to bulge out more.

Yep I see alot of people that go from a 26" to a 28" and wonder why they are so much narrower, they almost always end up goin with 12.5 over the 11.5 because of that.

Well to take full advantage of the relocation brackets, you will need adjustable LCAs. For one, when if you try to use a non-adj lca with a 28 in tire and relocation bracket it won't work. The tire will scrape the front of the fender.

you might gain a little bit swapping that torque arm out for one like the BMR Xtreme TA. i'm looking at doing that myself, "only" making around 600rwhp.
