Weld in! Most shops will probably want to just make one for your car and not install someone else's. If your doing it yourself I've heard mostly good things about Wolfe. I have an S&W but haven't installed it yet. If you can afford it and weld it go for the moly. Also if your planing on low 10's you may want to consider a 10 point, unless it's mostly a street car, accident+halo bar+ no helmet=no good!

6 pt from Wolf, weld or bolt will be good to 9.99. I just received my moly, 6 pt, weld in from Wolf and it looks darn good. We have an S&W in Bob's car and the door bars don't give you the clearance that a Wolf's does.

I had a used bolt in wolfe 6point and was happy with it. I changes it for a weld in wolfe 6point, spent alot of money on it with there shipping and everything ready to go. All notched, and fitted. But it was WAY off, and spent a ton of time fitting it. Taking it to a local chassis shop to have parts re bent, bars cut down 1/2 inch off there fit jig notches. I was very unimpressed with it, and its not gona be 100% "right" fitting form having to work with what I had. It would have been faster and cheaper for me to have the local shop make one over. Check it out here,

check with your local shops, I think your near PAF thats a sponcor on here. I've seen some nice stuff on here form them.

You might want to check with some shops around your area. A shop made my chromeoly 6pt rollbar for cheaper than what Wolfe sells them for.

how is that? even if you got a deal on the tubing, their labor bending it and welding it would put them in the hole....

My 6pt chromoly rollbar installed was $743 plus tax which brought it to right at $800. On Wolfe's website, it says $875 for a Bolt-in Chromoly rollbar. And that isn't even including freight.

i was referring to weld in vs weld in.
the weld in is only like 485 is why i said that.
800 is a good price on a moly bar installed.
