Default free mods?

well, i'm obviously a newbie and i see a lot of people talking about "free mods", i tried the search function and couldn't find much....so i'm just wandering wtf are free mods?

free mods are basically self-explanatory.....they are mods for free. installuniversity.com has a couple of write-ups on some 'free mods'

i knew they were free...just had no idea what they were. Thanks for the site, very helpful. I appreciate it. Now i guess i have something to do this weekend..lol

no prob man. weight reduction is a 'free mod' also. there is plenty of things in our cars that can be removed. there is a weight reduction sticky in the drag racing forum with a list of a whole lot of stuff

Free mod are just something that you don't have to buy and can do it yourself with little or no cost.

some samples of free mods are:
port and polish your Throttle Body.
Bypass the Throttle Body hot water lines,
removing your egr and air system,
De-screening your MAF.

yeah, i have to go through emissions so there are a few things i can't get rid of....sucks
