Default 233/239 cam for turbo

just was wondering if the 233/239 .598/.603" at 113LSA cam would be ok for a turbo car... or if anyone has used it for their FI car

Id say its ok, but not what I would choose for most 346" setups.

It will not work the best but it will do OK. Would it be in the best interest to switch? Yes. Do you need too? No.

Depends on a lot of factors, if I were to guess he is shooting for 500-600hp....I would say LS6 or GT2-3 would fit the bill.

i would go GT-7

very similar to the Z06 cam

05-07 ZO6 cam 210/230 .561/.557 –120.5 LSA
Lingenfelter GT7 208/230 .554/.546 –121CL

its a very sleeprish type cam.. doesnt have alot of chop to its idle

I added 1.8 to my gt7 to get a bit closer to 600 lift. It has no lope at all in my 408 but thats fine with me. personally think if try something else in future it will be like a
233/239 .598/.603" at 116 or 117LSA .Course 408 can use a bigger cam than a 346.

I wanted to keep my lift reasonable so don't have to change valve springs too often and to insure have headroom under boost . I have 650 lift springs in my afr 225 heads.
