GM has a 6 year on paint period. Check your owner's manual.. it's even in there.

Not if it has to do with the bubbling roofs.

Isn't that paint though? I don't understand dealers justification of somethings. If there is a 6 year paint warranty and a part that has paint on it is messed up, obviously by something that wasn't caused by the owner, then there should be no question as to whether they will fix it or not.

the older ASC painted hoods suck... mine is a full 2 shades off, and has little bubbles on the edge.

I SCOURED all my warranty info and the owners manual when I got the "Roof Bubble Mod" real good and I could not find crap anywhere in either about a warranty on the paint except for a little part in the warranty booklet that said they would warranty crap like acid rain damage or other airborne pollutant damage for the first year.

If I missed something in the book, help me out. I might have missed the right page or something. In my case, the dealer IS going to fix my "Roof Bubble Mod" but I still like to see stuff like this warrantied IN WRITING... It just makes me feel a little better...

Thanks, and Good Luck with the paint job.
