Default Just installed FAST intake - no brakes

I just installed my fast intake the passed day and i just took it up my drive way and noticed that i had no power brakes! I looked in back and the vacuum line is connected. Now it's in my shop and when i start the car i have power brakes and then sometimes i do not. They usually do not work when i pump them more than three times. Any ideas?

Thank You,
KMMG

sounds like a vacuum leak. double check to make sure the brake booster line isnt kinked, pinched, or plugged up.

Make sure you put the hose back into the brake booster...

Gotta be the vaccume line to the brake booster. Either @ the Master cylinder or the back of the intake. My guess would be the back of the intake, or a kink in the line.

Yep, its a vacuum issue. Does your AC work right? If not its the small vacuum hose on the back of the intake. If your AC does work then your brake booster hose is kinked or the base is cracked at the booster or intake.

the grommet in the brake booster is probably split!! When you pulled it out was it kinda stuck and hard to get out?? Pull the hose back out of the brake booster and pull the grommet out and look at it, quick and simple

Checked everything out. Hose is in place correctly on both ends. Have power brakes for two pumps then i have to wait about 20 seconds then i have power brakes again.
Any ideas? it did not do this before i installed the FAST intake.

mine did this once... found out later the little check valve in the brake booster vaccum hose had been put in backwards...

I was like "WTF" for the longest time! It was kinda comical
