Default Kirkey Pro street vs Economy

Anybody sat in both? Opinions? About ready to buy a seat but I don't have any place local that has either that I can sit in. I see that the depth of the Economy seat is 1.5" less than the pro street, as well as the height. Other than that, I'm really wondering what makes the economy seat so much cheaper.

My pro street is way more comfortable than I thought it would be so I would suggest it any day.

I'll probably be going with the pro street then. I definately think it looks better than the economy seat, but if the looks was the only difference, I might have settled for the cheaper one.

While on the topic, what is everybody using to brace the back of the seat??

I am running an RCI seat that is basically identical to the economy drag. It is pretty uncomfortable, and I am planning on going to the pro street kirkeys. I have sat in the pro street kirkeys and they are much more comfortable than my RCI's.

I've sat in both. I currently own the Kirkey Economy seats. If I kept my car, I would definitely put in the pro street seats as they are much more comfortable.

So, my suggestion: Pay the extra $$ and get the Pro Street seats

you can use pretty much anything. they make some nice adjustable brackets, and several fixed mounts.
at the end of the day its just easy to weld a plate and a piece of tube to the crossbar.

those nuts and bolts were temporary. had the seats in and out several times to get the right angle/length. its locknuted now.

Is there a bolt going through the seat? I was a little concerned about leaning back against a bolt head.

I've got the economy's and I don't mind em, but I've never sat in the pro. It does look better though. FWIW the mount bolts go through the seat also and I don't feel them or the rear brace even with the thin economy cover.

i have always had the pro street seats and liked them. i never sat in an economy until the other day when i got the pleasure of sitting in 98CamZ28's car which is bad *** but the seat was a little on the uncomfortable side. i could probably tolerate it for just a racecar but if it sees any street time at all it would probably suck pretty bad.
