Pinks Events and Roll bar question
How picky are they on going fast with no roll bar when u should have one. I have saw some on show going 10.20 with no roll bar. Does different tracks let people get away with this at a Pink event?? Anybody know??

Pinks has nothing to do with safety, it all has to do with the track. Its a pretty big crowd so most likely no one will say anything unless you say what the car runs.
I was at Bristol and they bounced a couple cars for running too fast with no roll bar, but at Rockingham they let a guy run in the finals with no roll bar - lot of guys there were bitching about it but they still let him run..

At the Event at Ennis last weekend (Pinks) we knew a guy that got disqualified from the race the moment he went through tech and he didn't have a roll cage according to the class he picked. I would make sure my vehicle is up to NHRA standards before I go to any race.

I did Pinks All Out in Rockingham and they didnt seem picky. They did go ape **** about making sure everyone had water in the radiator and not anti-freeze. As far as the roll bar thing, I think its hit or miss.
Ill be at Pinks All Out in Concord in April but Ive already got a 6 pt.
