Trouble with bucking/stalling.. AGAIN, please help
Well I had this problem (or one like it before) where ill be driving and all of a sudden the rpms will drop and the car will stutter, if I give it more gas it will almost die and shake violently... here is the thread before
https://ls1tech.com/forums/general-m...ng-advice.html
Anyway I changed the spark plugs on 1-11-09 and it seemed to fix the problem... Yesterday, i installed my amp and sub I got from a member on here. A small 300 watt amp and a MTX thunder form stealth box. I hooked everything up and it worked so I went inside for the night.
Now this morning on my way to work, my car is acting just like it did with the fouled plugs... what gives? could the plugs be fouled again already?? I used the highest AC Delco brand... couldnt get my hands on the NGK 55s... could it be my amp messing something up? I checked the amp power light when the car is off and the amp is off so it shouldnt be using any power right?

Its not the plugs that are the problem, they fouled out most likely cause of something else. If you got headers and dont have the rear o2 deleted; when the upstream o2's take a dump the pcm relies on the that cat tatel o2's to monitor engine perforamnce. Since you dont have rear o2's the pcm when in closed loop mode may be going into buttfuck(limp) mode. Also if you crimped the o2 extenders on and there is corrosion or bad connection that could cause high resistance in turn cause you car to run rich and foul out the plugs.

well I got it back and they said it wasnt acting up on them at all so... then I drive it to work today and it starts stalling again... I take it back to the shop and they say its throwing 2 codes now: Crank sensor and PCM failure.. what does that mean exactly?
Is this something I can replace/fix myself? cause the shop is wanting 1000$ just for parts and then like some crazy $/hr...
thanks
