You should know putting to big of a tire can slow down your ETs if not matched right.

Big tires=big power

My 255 DRs look pretty wide I think. They JUST fit inside the wheel wells w/o any BFH action or spacer, but I do me JUST fit. I think I have about ¼" before they'd rub.

My buddy has 17x11 zr1's on his car with 315/40/17 Hoosier's on his '97 Z28. Car hooks well. Looks f'ing sweet too! He had to roll the fenders and chop his bump stop, but they fit perfect, don't stick out at all. I'll ask him what back spacing they are.

Agreed, tire width is OK but not enough backspacing on the rims.

I have the large 11.5's on the back of my 97ta.. they have 315/35/17's on them. Mine doesn't look at all like that! there is about a pinkys clearance on that set up!

The GS 17X11 offset is 50mm with 7.930" backspacing
The GS fit better on Camaro's

thanx for sharing those pics (LT1), looks sick with those welds...so at 7.5 backspacing did u have to grind ur rear brakes and did u have any fender to tier clearance issues ?

To get 15X10 to fit with 325's its a lot of work. I posted a thread on it, you can check the link

https://ls1tech.com/forums/wheels-ti...-pro-star.html

-Grind caliper or use spacers and grind less
-If brakes are worn out you'll have to get new pads and re-grind for calipers to rim clearance.
-Lots of BFH
-Roll inner fender lip
-Replace lower control arm (stock rear LCA will rub tire)
-Longer lug stud's
-Shank style lug nuts
