Tbyrne is taking pre-orders. I saw info on them on Corvetteforum, but haven't seen any on other boards. Should be pretty impressive. Thier LT1 heads are awesome.

AFR's ported LT1 heads aren't much if any better than a ported LT4 head. This is based on what several LT1 owners told me, some owning AFR LT1's.

Stock AFR heads flow better than LT4 heads, but the advantage is that they can be milled out even more. They are very good heads and are pretty pricey.

Well that and you can have a higher flowing smaller port with the AFR's over the LT4's should be the same for the AFR's vs LS6's

My buddy is a hardcore LT1 guy and he told me AFR's are great heads. But I won't really base that on what they will do for LS1's. No one here will have an educated opinion until they come out and we see some results. There is nothing that anyone can say right now that really matters.

They should be on display at PRI.

I'm sure the public will see them sometime after that, perhaps late December.

Hey anything that starts off with less volume and more material is a better casting to start with IMHO.

BTW here is the first info of it actually out

http://www.airflowresearch.com/pages/205cc_mongoose.htm

.200 140
.300 200
.400 251
.500 281
.550 292
.600 301

Now throw a LS6 or LSX intake on it an see what it flows. The numbers are really good for a 205cc port.
