16x8, 0mm offset ROH ZR6 - from 3rd gen to 4th possible?
Hey guys. I've reviewed the FAQ information above, and form what I can understand, the stock offset for a 4th gen Camaro is 38mm, right? I just bought a nice '96 vert, and I would like to run my ROH ZR6 wheels (Think 94-96 Imapala SS) from my 3rd gen - also a 16x8, but i would assume a 0mm offset like most 3rd gens. So, thats about an inch of difference. Has anybody tired this? How foolish did it look? It wouldn't hurt to try it I guess and see for myself, but I'd hate to go through the trouble to find out its a really terrible idea. Lemme know what you guys think.

Your vert will have what I call the "skateboarding" or "mailbox knocking look." The wheels will stick out past the fenders. Its not horrible, but I won't look right.
But do whatever pleases you!

I agree 100% that the vert deserves to sit right. I guess I'm gonna pull 1 wheel, and see how bad it is, or isn't, and go from there. I'm not into wheels that sit out past the fenders, we'll have to see what it ends up looking like. Its not a huge deal either way. Thanks for the thoughts fellas.

Not only would the wheels/tires stick out too far, you'd have to jack up the car so you'd have clearance between the fendires/tires, in case you hit ant bumps.
I know the wheels you're talking about, and I think they're a good looking wheel. It's just the case where they're the wrong offset for your application. Try "Group-A Autotrends", as they are an importer for ROH wheels. They might have those wheels in the proper offset for a 4th gen....

Yea, I gave it a shot today with a front wheel, they stick, as expected, about 1 inch past the fender. I didn't mind the look at all, but I do think I'd end up messing up the fender if I ever hit a major bump and full compressed the suspension. Really sucks, because they looked incredible. Oh well, I guess whoever buys my old 3rd gen will have a nice set of wheels under them.
