How much tm is decreased in the predator tune?
Hey just wondering if anyone could tell me how much of the torque management is removed in the canned tune that comes with the predator handheld. Also is there any way to adjust that one aspect of the performance tune without having to create a whole new custom tune or modify the stock one. I'd like to use the predator performance tune but be able to adjust some of the individual parameters within it. Thanks.

I don't know how much tm is removed but I was told to turn off the first two options and leave the 3rd option on if you have the stock trans. After you install the predator tune you can still adjust whichever parameters you want. I got a lot of info from there website.

Current versions of the GM gas Predators have a good % of the TM removed, I'd have to ask one of our tuners on Monday exactly how much.
We do not disable the TM Upshift abuse mode in the A4 vehicles. We do let you disable that in the adustable parameters, so you could install the performance tune and disable the TM at the same time, in addition to the ability to adjust any of the other parameters.
Thanks
Mike

Well I can't upload yet since I don't have the connection for it yet. All tapped out money wise at the moment lol. But I am going to go into the tune myself and turn TM back on. That way I know I'm ok as far as that goes. Thanks.

It's the "tear" you have to worry about.
On my original-version Predator it was all-or-nothing
(either all off, or stock). Ans occasionally it would
"forget" to turn it off though the next time it'd
"stick".
If you increase the shift speed, you won't hardly
notice the TM "bog". It's the combination of slow
soft shift, and dead timing, that aggravates people.
Punking the motor protects the trans, the trans
is known weak, so if you have to choose between
all and nothing, I'd stick with "all". It makes very
little difference to ET / performance (especially if
shifts are set crisp).
