About perhaps a year ago one of the members posted his ws6 new paint job. It appeared to be a SOM color but it had more red than the factory SOM. It was a very different color but wow did it stand out. So I know if anyone saw this thread they would know which one i am talking about becuase it was so freakin good lookin. But I cant find the darn thing now. So anyojne remeber this car i speak of?

Kandy hellfire is not an actual color but rather a nickname for candy red. It looks like the car was sprayed with a silver or gold base and than a red candy was sprayed on top tinting the base color. From the picture with the flash I would say gold was the base color but its hard to say from just a picture. Note that candy paint jobs are not cheap. For a quality candy job your are looking at a lot of money compared to just a regular basecoat.

I found the old thread yeah I figured it was probably a gold but some reason I thought he said silver........ "EDIT*The color is a custom mixed dupont candy matched to the color crimson over a cosmic dust metallic silver base. So I call it Crimson Dust."
