I have a CC503 cam-only LT1. I did a lot of research and I found that the best spring for the money for my build was the Crane 10308 dual spring kit. Drop in replacement and it should handle ~.600" lift. Works great in my car so far.
+1 on going with 1.6 ratio rockers over 1.52.

Springa are not where you want to go cheap at.
I ran the 10308 kit for about two years daily driving a custom 22x/23x cam with .570 lift on both sides. For a mild cam it is hard to beat. Peaked at around 6k just like they said it would with no sign of valvefloat.
