Default More noise after 92/92 install

Is this common? I installed my ported fast 92 a couple days ago and haven't had a chance to get it tuned yet. The noise level of my of my sewing machine increased a bit since...

Any one else experience this?

Just putting a K&N FIPK on my 454 Silverado dramatically increased cabin noise form 3k up.

I ended up with 24 hp and 26 ft lbs of torque over the ls6/ported tb and the tune is perfect. It runs like stock - no joke. trap speed went from consistent 116 to 120. I know that's a huge jump but i'm not complaining.
