Default What spark plugs in a 408?

Wondering what plugs to go with in a 408. Not doing FI or Nitrous. I think Compression will be 10.5 or 11 to 1. Thanks!

I suggest TR6s gapped@.045". Once you are making a decent amount of power over stock, it's time to go to a colder plug.

TR6 for sure. Part number should be a 4177.

I am installing my 408 and am going to use TR55s for now. I am going to reuse my MS3 and PRC heads for now. But when I go bigger than that I am jumping to TR6s then. You should be straight unless you have a monster set of heads and massive cam.

I went with the TR6 in my new 408. I had the 55s in my 347. No big deal to put them in now.

I'm also running TR-6's but i'm running 12:1 compression in mine.I think with your setup TR-55's would be fine, but I doubt you'd be hurting anything running the 6's
