Fast 90/90 guys I am having an issue with MAP sensor popping out of the manifold. Is there supposed to be a bracket that holds this in? Or are you doing something else to get it to stay. I didnt put the manifold on but I did take it off and nothing is holding it in except for the grommet.

The fast has no little hold down like the factory very stupid of fast to do that. Not sure about the latest 92 mm design. What i did is drilled and tapped a vacuum fitting and use that to supply my main vacuum manifold since have a lot of stuff hooked up. I use a 3 bar map with extension harness so can move it away a bit from the intake much easier to mess with there. I run a vac line to it from my vacuum manifold.
So no way my map can blow out of the manifold under boost. Before that with the 1bar sensor I made a llittle hold down from like metal stripping and put it into off the back of block or trans bellhousing forget which to help hold the map down under boost.

I have the exact same blox manifold on my car, it is a very nice piece I think. The fitting is a great idea. I'm a bit hesitant to tap and drill plastic but I dont really have a choice unless I silicone the sensor on the manifold somehow. FAST should have a better solution than just letting lay around up there. I understand that vacuum will hold it in maybe on a NA car, but a clip or something else should have been used.

I threaded and pugged mine, then ran vac hose off one of the vac ports off the manifold directly to the sensor and zip tied both ends for good measure. I thought it was a total joke when i tried installing it as per OEM positioning and saw how loose it was.

I used Black silicone to hold it in and never had problems with it popping out.......but I returned my intake to FAST because it did not hold up to 16psi

I also loctited my bolts holding the fast halfs together. And make sure you put some rtv where the gasket pieces meet as the gasket is not one solid piece.
Fast should offer a version of this intake purely 92 with not all the shells.As for not standing up to boost there are tons of guys running the fast to 20psi at least with zero problems. Done lots of research on it. Past 20psi it might not be the best choice.
I plan on likely only running maybe 15psi tops on my setup maybe even 12psi if get bigger turbos.
No idea what happened with your 92 to make it leak. Maybe a person could rtv the entire gasket a bit and use loctite on the fasteners between the intake.
But as said I have lots of info on boosted fast 90 and 92 applictations including an rx7 running the new fast 92 and doing 8s at like 160mph at higher boost levels.
AFR has couple of high hp afr 225 build ups with fast 90s.
Aps car ran pretty sure fast intake at higher boost. Many fast intake dynos on boosted cars in the ls1 dyno book thats out.
One big thing guys likely do is to make mistake and not buy the right valley bolts especially when they get intake used. This will crack it . Also guys likely overtighten or dont' tighten or loctite the bolts between the shells, don't make sure the gasket between shells is in good shape or even properly seated.
All I know is the fast has no problems so far to 8psi or so. I will be upping the boost on mine a bit here and there this season and will see how it works. I would switch possibly to a one piece intake but it has to take direct port the same as my current fast or not interested in it.
