Shank Style Lug Nuts are breaking studs
Hey I was wondering if any of you guys had any guesses as to why my shank style lug nuts keep breaking off studs on my 01 TA
The wheels are Billet Specialties Street Lites, and I'm using the lugs that were sent with the wheels. They always go on just fine, I torque them, then when I go to remove them, every now and then there is one that WILL NOT come loose. I'm pretty frustrated as this is getting expensive. I cant figure it out!

I knew I had at least 1 messed up stud when I put the Street Lites on last week for the first time.
I did it at the track with my Bogarts. I went to pull the wheels off tonight, one lugnut is stuck & 1 stud is ruined. I'm going back to ARP studs...Had them in my stock axles before, but didn't switch them when I went to the Moser's. I'm leaving the car home this weekend...

To bring this back from the dead... so did the ARP studs fix everyones problems because this is getting very expensive for me. I have probably changed all the studs on the rear 2 or 3x now, and replace the mags a few times.

how do you change the rear studs? I tried the other day and couldnt understand how. I took off the tire, rotor, then i was left with the e-brake shoes and I was lost there. I didn't know how to access the studs
