LOL!!

ANSWER:

as often as you can stand refillin and replacin filters. Just jack the car up high enough u can get the pan off and the filter neck slip fits onto the pick up tube. Replace the gasket, bolt up the pan and fill to the cold level on the dipstic thru the dipstic tube. Continue to check & fill w the car running repeatedly changing between neutral reverse and drive for short increments before rechecking until it stays level at the warm/hot crosshatch. DO NOT UNDERFILL!!!!! Treat ur 4L60E right and itll last a LONG time.

Id suggest no more than 20-25k per service interval. Less depending on how hard u drive ur car.

Default pink fuild

I've had the trans. rebuilt w/ the TCI racer rebuild kit and TCI beast sun shell
after the planetary gear broke (going up a steep hill was kindof weird) it's been about 55K since rebuild and about 25K since fuild change consisting of dropping pan installing new filter.was planning on a 25K interval.

When I purchased the car in 01 the first mod was a 20K cooler. sense rebuild I've added a B&M 24K cooler in parrel w/ el cheapo 20K, TCI deep pan and a perma cool extrenal oil filter used as a 3rd cooler and filter.

even in extreme outside temps. the trans. guage reads 100 degrees on expressway and in city traffic usally around 125-185.

Whats this stuff I've been reading here about if it's still pink not smelling burnt then leave it alone.

Thanks

I do the fluid every 10k-15k or so since the heat down here is pretty bad and I drive with a lead foot.
