Why do you say that Tom? Steve didn't mean this in a negative way. This past weekend we were seriously asking each other how to pronounce his name and come to find out, no one we talked to knew for sure. What's wrong with wanting to know?

BTW, jailtime was Sunday morning, Tim.

OK, well I guess I took the poll the wrong way but taking Steve and Joe's rocky relationship into account I don't see how I could NOT have taken the poll in the wrong way. Besides, associating a mans name with a brassiere is, ahh never mind. Sorry for the confusion.

I just happened to talk with Joe this morning just before I read this post, so my response had some emotion attached to it. I'll leave it at that.

Joe is doing much better but he has a long long way to go for a full recovery. He asked me to tell everyone how MUCH he appriciates their generosity. He also wanted me to tell everyone that the $$ is being well spent paying bills and NOT being pissed away. Joe is not ready for the internet at this point but I hope to see him back soon.

I really feel bad for Joe.

BTW it's like desire / Kizzire, Joe Kizzire "my friend"

Tom Staab " like slob " with 2 short a's. lol

No offense meant, this was a lite hearted thread exactly like Colonel said ... I couldn't think of any other word than brassiere LOL do you know one?

It is like DISIRE

also, Joe and I have always gotten along in person, we spoke the week before his stroke. A lot of people with "rocky" pasts with Joe have stepped to the plate to support him in this time of need, that is what racers are all about.

To be honest, I had always thought it was pronounced like "brassiere" until I heard them announcing his name at the track...
