Default A4 to M6

Starting my swap from my 4L60E to a nice M6
I am currently gathering all the parts to compleat this swap and looks like it will be worth it, because my car is a street car, not an all out drag car.

I would like some information from the guys that have done this swap.
What did you think of it? Hard / Easy? I am very worried about pulling the A4 pedals assembly and installing the M6 pedals assembly.

Currently i am a little confused where the hyd. system goes. I am really not sure where i run my lines and where the reservoir and master cylinder goes.

Ant information on both would be awesome! And if some has some schematic on the hyd. system that would be awesome!

I am going to try and do a TR6060 that is if i can find a core, because the two places that i am talking to, to build the trans can not find a TR6060.
If i can not get a TR6060 i will go with the T56...

Reason for the TR6060 if because its stronger than the T56 from the factory and i will be throwing about 900hp at it after nitrous. Around 850rwhp.

I've done it twice, on my LT1 then a week ago to my LS408. I love it!

Here's an idea, its a good write up.

I just did mine alone in my garage, gathering the parts is the challenge. Pedals are easy. Once you unbolt the a4s and bolt in the m6 you'll see where the master hole needs to be. Take your time, you don't want a hole too big. I also bought all new GM hydraulics. I wanted plug and play.

Can be done over the weekend.

Yea it's not hard to do.. ^^This guy posted my thread on it, it has alot of good info.

A T56 can be re-built to hold alot..keep that in mind if you can't find a T6060.
