New from TX
Hey everyone,
I've glanced through the site a couple times and decided I should probably go ahead and join up.
I'm in the Dallas area and just recently bought an 02 z28 with less than 17k mi as a daily driver to work and absolutely fell in love with it. So, I'm selling my current play car, a 90 300zx twin turbo, in order to fund a new project:
An LSx powered 1986 Porsche 951
I'm really looking forward to the build and will probably be asking a ton of questions as I am still new to the LSx world.

Thanks and will do. Hopefully within a month I'll be gathering up everything for the build.

Here's a couple from the dealership when I bought it last month. It had less than 17k mi on it! It's all stock and will probably stay that way for a while since I'll be working on the 951 project.
Yea, I've seen a couple videos, and they're awesome, the goal is for a touch over 400whp, which shouldn't be hard, but should be quick in that little car. Plus even with all accessories, there is only a 12lb difference between the stock 951 engine and an ls1, so perfect weight distribution is basically unchanged.

ahaha you're probably right, but I'm going to try to keep my hands off it and do all the modification to the 951.
