in 2000, did the SS's come with the Camaro SS plaque on the dash, or the camaro plaque? i need to know before i drive real far away to check out a car for sale. thanks.

no they didnt, atleast my old 2000 ss never did. best way to tell is the slp sticker in the door

not true. my ss did not come with the plaque either. im sure it was just an option. my car has all options but hte slp stuff and i bet thats why it doesnt have the plaque.

my '99 SS is loaded and with some SLP options and it does NOT have the SS plaque.....someone told me it was just another SLP option you had to order.

Just look at the sticker on the drivers door with RPO codes and look for WU8, this is the code for the SS option. If the car had any options installed by SLP look for the code Y2Y on the same sticker, if its there it should have a sticker on the pass door from SLP with options installed.

the 02 and the 97s were the only ones with the ss plaque on the dash. I got this info straight from slp.
