Ok, great advise! I'd just like to possibly know ahead of time instead of being surprised.
Do you guys think I would have PTV issues with stock 799 heads milled 0.015-0.020 with a 228/232 .588 .595 110+2? Stock gaskets, rocker arms.

I'd probably just mill them .015, that should get it to 62cc, right? But crap, then I'd have milled heads and a tight clearance.. Last edited by jetlag; 08-29-2009 at 08:36 PM.

It'll be fine cut .020, I do it all the time. Just run a good spring. PTV is slightly tight, but nothing to worry about. Having an A4, you don't have the worry of missing gears and mechanically over revving the engine.
I've ran intake clearance in the ~.040-.050 range before and been fine on my own stuff. Some of these magic stick, vindicator, etc cams are in the .040 range on stock heads.
