Need help with throttle cable adjustment.
I bought a used BBK 80mm tb of someone. The throttle cable now has enough slack in it that its only half open. I searched but could only really find information that made no sense to me. Since it seems to matter, I have a non TCS car... Can someone please give me a detailed explanation or something with pictures that make me understand how to adjust the stupid cable? I've seen how its done on TCS cars but it doesnt seem like its the same for non TCS cars. Thank you

Doesn't it have a lead crimp that acts as the "rough" cable stop adjustment? Most cable have some sort of sleeve crimped on the end to act as a stop. I would go to a good fishing supply store and find the Seven Strand stuff. Seven Strand sells steel leader(wire rope or cable) to catch big offshore fish(tuna, mackerel, amberjack, etc.). The sell sleeves of all sizes to match different diameter leaders(cable). Just match your cable to their leader and buy the appropiate Seven Strand sleeves. They come in a small pack. You'll need a good crimp tool which you can buy at the sporting goods store or at an electrical supply house.
