most Z06's trap stock 124-126, some as high as 128. The Zr-1's I have seen are trapping 131-134.
Look at the difference in the transmission gears between the two cars. Totally different.
Got the trans gear ratio's for you and as you can tell the Zr-1's from 1st to 3rd are totally higher than the Z06's. They are both 3.42 rear end gears.
Zr-1 z06
1st-2.29 1st-2.97
2nd-1.61 2nd-2.07
3rd-1.21 3rd-1.43
4th-1.00 4th-1.00
5th-.81 5th-.71
6th-.67 6th-.57
Look at the difference in the transmission gears between the two cars. Totally different.
Got the trans gear ratio's for you and as you can tell the Zr-1's from 1st to 3rd are totally higher than the Z06's. They are both 3.42 rear end gears.

.....am I crazy,... or is that the clutch thats smoking after the launch. To me, it looks like it,...cause it appears most of the smoke from the burnout was alleviated already. Regardless of the smoke......the driver either launched the car nicely if your on a street tire(slipping the clutch, not full releasing the pedal as if you had slicks=good radial).....or,.... the clutch wasn't diggin' the ft-lbs a whole lot.
Check it out, like twenty times.

^ I am sure your stay here will be short lived.
As for the ZR1, no doubt you guys are obviously referring to Ranger. I bet if he had the seat time in a ZR1 that he has had in his Z06 and good conditions, he would best his Z06 ET and MPH by a healthy margin.
