Heads/cam swap result ....crank no start...
okay so i finished my heads cam swap to try and start the car only to find the car cranks fine but will not start. After taking a closer look i realized when you turn the key one click before starting it , all the usual lights on the cluster including the mileage clock the door sensor lets face it the lights that light up like a christmas tree and go away when you start the car just dont come on at all. This leads me to believe that maybe the ECU isnt getting power? thats just a guess but thats also why the car isnt starting. I plugged in a scanner and it says no response from ignition. Any ideas im sure this is something foolish i overlooked when putting the car together. any ideas im dying to get her running

I just had the one ground on the back of the driver's side head. Make sure the coils are all plugged in along with the large connection that powers the 4 coils on each side. Also make sure fuel line is reconnected, MAF, IAT, OPSU, knock sensors, and ECT are all plugged in too. Oh and your O2 sensors as well in case you pulled the headers out. Are the battery connections pretty tight?

there is 2 of em on the drivers side make sure there tight also just for ***** try your battery connections they might be just lose enough not to crank
1 more thing there is 2 big plug ins on each coil pack in the center make sure there seated all the way if it still wont start pull a plug and see if your getting spark if you get spark its not your coils

That broke sensor is probably the oil sending unit.
On the grounds; at the rear of the drivers side cylinder head there are 3 ground wires. As equipped stock; 2 are grounded with 1 bolt, and a single eyelet is grounded with another bolt. These are both short 15mm headed bolts. As long as all 3 wires are grounded to the block they shouldn't cause issues.

I plan to get one of these when I do my LS6 Intake Install. That way I'll eliminate the chance of breaking it when I set the new intake into the engine bay. (Well, I hope. LOL)
*Sorry. I may have jumped the gun when I posted. It has been a little while since I've read the other thread and more has been added. Now I'm not so sure this is a simple plug-in-play product for an F-body. I'm waiting for an answer from the sponsor.
