Tsp ported and shimmed ls6 oil pump here, great oil pressure.
Cold start 60psi
Idle 48psi
Wot 80+psi
My bro has the slp and its 35psi @ idle. They say it depends on the spring you put in the pump.

Is there a way to tell what spring you have?

What needs to be checked so you have optimum psi?

After seeing my bros psi i wouldnt put that pump in my car. But also some guys say dont get cought up with oil pressure, 35psi is normal for an slp pump.

From what i've read/heard the slp pump comes with three springs i think. then depending on the spring you put in gives you your psi from low to high. I'm pretty sure a sponsor or slp can help you with finding out what spring you have in your pump.

I wouldn't worry too much about pressure as long as it's at least 30's at hot idle. I ported the discharge side of my stock LS6 pump and reused the spring and it's low 30's at hot idle and high 40's I think at WOT (not real sure as I haven't checked it at WOT lately). I don't know about the SLP having 3 springs...doesn't make much sense to me as just 1 "long" spring fits in there. Also the pressure is completely dependant on the spring alone.
