Need some input on stripes on a hugger orange Z
Hey gang,
I'm looking to tweak the appearance of the car a bit ( I know the popular choices are SS hood, Sunoc Hood, SS spoiler, but I'm leaving the body panels as is. )
I'm thinking of doing something in terms of stripes....so as I'm thinking through my own ideas, I'd welcome all of your ideas as well!
Thanks!

Honestly, I like it the way it is. I have seen some dual stripes that get wider as they go toward the winshield. I like the look of those. Two "skinny" stripes on the long and flat Z hood look funny to me. There is a guy around here that has those stripes, but I always see him going the other direction. I see if I can find a picture.

i have the same thread going also.
my car is close to yours but catenne red with chrome zr1's and i was thinking about eather dual hood stripes or some hockey stripes.
i think a set of short black hockey stripes would look good on your car.

Guys,
Keep the comments & ideas rolling in....
I like the wide Z28 style stripes...I was thinking of using those with a checkerboard fade. Have the stripe start in black and at the upper end fade into a deep charcoal.
I'm also giving alot of consideration to the hockey stripes...
Of course there's always the leave it alone option too

Car looks CLEAN... but from the front reminds me of a plain jane stock Z.
My stripes were on before I bought the car, and I plan to go another direction... but the stock hood definitely needs something to break it up a bit.

Looks like less is more is the run away winner....the more I think about it and look at it, I think that's the right choice.
I just wish the hood and deck spoiler weren't so bland on the Z....I really hate like hell to change those out, as the paint on the car is in excellent shape.
