Talking to stripe or not to stripe? help!!!!!!

hey guys im trying to change around my car a little and im thinking about going with a set of the black short hockey stripes.
so should i go for it or not?
oh and the huge wing is gone so it looks like a stock camaro wing which really cleaned up the look of the car.
tell me what ya guys think!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I vote no stripes...well unless they are on the sides of a sunoco hood

I've always been a fan of the long hockey stripes. I think it looks great with "427" in it, but you need the 427 to back it up. That's the only thing stopping me from doing it on my SS.

Going to have to say no stripes. Love the color of your car so I wouldnt touch it. Might try some projector lights or paint your side mirrors the same color as the body. Other than that I say it looks good as it.

I think I'll wait for you to stripe your car first before I do anything to mine

Just kidding, I think you're in the same boat...either wide rally stripes or the hockey stripes look like the 2 best chouces for us flat hood guys!

No stripes.

Suggestions:

-3 Z28 emblems placed in the proper locations (emblempros has many selections)
-SS spoiler does wonders for the rear end
-SLP and painted grilles tend to look better than billet grilles on these cars (especially when painted body color with black accents)
-Paint side mirrors to match body color (it just flows better)
-New nose emblem would look nice
-Maybe a SLIGHT tint on the taillights with some VHT and clear

I know some of these are subtle, but sometimes less is more...

Your car already looks nice!

I'd say SS wing, paint to match mirrors, and Nite shades on the tail lights for now. Later, when the budget allows, go for the SS or Sunoco hood.

thanks for the opinions guys. as for the grill thats new so it stays but i have going to make a backing piece for it so it dont show behind the grill.
i have been thinking about geting some emblems but i have the retro emblem in the grill so i might go with a camaro script emblem or the one that matches the grill.

im going to vht the tails a little( and advance auto parts started selling it so its not that hard to get).

im really on the fence about painting the mirrors and i might get em done when i have my front bumper redone to save the paint(100 a pint for basf! ***** expensive)
