Same here.......
i believe it's a 9.64 ( I think it might actaully be faster than this but im not 100% sure ) and i have no clue on the block
I think someone has been real close to the 8's if not in the 8's on the stock block

I "believe" we've ran the fastest mph on the stock bottom end LS1 (at 4100 DA 103 deg day, 130+ deg track temp, peddling the car down the track till the 330ft) about a month ago.
10.01 @ 141
We are headed back to the track with a few changes on Nov 7th (2 weeks)...hoping to be the new fastest stock bottom end car in the country

We've made a few changes for our runs in two weeks
141 in 4000+ DA ...if that means anything to you, present weather is been about 1000 ft DA...we are expecting some great stuff. Our race weight is pretty close to the same as Texas Speeds Camaro now with all safety changes/adds (Putting chute/sheetmetal wing/halon system etc in car now since we expect mid 8's with the new motor as soon as we get done with the stock shortblock stuff)

OP is your question stock short block or stock block/cubes with forged internals? i know there are a couple on here that went in the 9.3x's with stock cubes @145mph. i know baked on here was after that record last year with the potental to break it if the car ever worked at the same time the track was there. he went 9.36@145 last fall with stock front suspension and about 3400lbs....

I think the OP was asking about the stock bottom end on nitrous. I believe that the 9.66 Texas Speed ran was just H/C/I NO spray. I don't know what it would run with the bottle turned on.

We went 144 yesterday @ 800ft DA (good DA for our local track actually) on stock shortblock.
Im pretty sure Texas Speed's car doesnt have stock rod bolts which is only slightly unstock-shortblock though. We would go faster but dont want to turn over 7000 on the stock rod bolts and ran out of gear 100+ ft before the end at 144. I wish it would live at 7200 or so and get a little more ET / mph out of it, but ill have to switch from a 3.73 gear to a 3.55 to do that.

the reason im asking is we went alittle faster then that, but if its not the record i really dont wanna post the times,, we went into xxx range with the ls1 shortblock off the footbrake leaving at 2300 rpms on a single plate..
