Sounds like you already have your options covered, although there is always option C. Just deal with it.

a little out of your price range ($500), but its something to look into.

I would do that and delete the rear seats, unless your one of the few actually use them .

6LE (six liter eater), a sponsor or this site, always runs group buys on every thing. speak to him directly and he might be able to hook you up.

Im having to replace my seats right now as well. My aunt is an upholster and Im doing the outside of the seat in light grey and the middle where you sit in charcoal down the middle. I went with leather-looking vinyl just because leather was a little more tha I wanted to spend.

It depends on the racing seat, 6LiterEater has a thread about it.

Here is what i did. I paid ~ $800 but only because i spent a bit too much having the seats reassembled and having the plastic accordian side pieces sewn in ($250 for the sewing and then after i got the seats back and couldn't get stuff to line up another $200 for them to finish the install, i think i got ripped off a bit since i did the back seats myself)

anyway this is the hawks kit which sells for $400. I also spent $37 on a new upper seat foam pad for the drivers seat.
