Default Has anyone modified their Camaro seats for harnesses?

My friend recently put a cage in his Camaro and bought corbeau seats. He no longer wants them, but wants to retain the stock seats. He is going to have the seats modified with holes for the straps.. has anyone done this? we would like to see some pictures.

They actaully sell a bar for the back to hook your 5pt harness to if you dont want a roll cage. I dont remember what the part was called but they do sell something like that. - Mike

LG Motorsports used to make a harness bar, occasionally you can find a used one around.

There was some one else that made one too, but I haven't seen anything about it in a long time.

Yes, but it's a bad idea.

Here's a thread with some seat inserts that'll let you put harnesses through the stockers.

those are my seats. they're corbeu inserts that i purchased through www.hawksthirdgenparts.com they're a two piece design. you just cut some holes, then stick the pieces together, sandwiching the seat between them. cost me 80bux to do both seats

a bar you attach a harness to........called a harness bar. hard to imagine, i know, but thats what its called.

i had mine made by TTP 2yrs ago. im not overly happy with it. they made it way too close to the seat, so its a very tight fit to get the clips on, and gives you a very limited adjustment in the straps.
