What is your current suspension setup?

Wheelie bars maybe in your future also.

Come on down Jeff, it's lonely down here all by myself. I'm not motivated to run any faster because there is no one in the power adder 346 ci. for me to go after.

I replied to your post in the admin section. Check it out.

Awesome launch!!! At least you're launching straight.
What can ya do at this point, to keep the front from coming up so high? Suspension limiters? I dont know the answer, but I'd like to know what the solution is.

My best 60' to date is a 1.34 and the car did not lift the tires more than 4"s off the ground. I have the Hals set at 12 up front and 3 on the driver rear and 4 on the passenger rear. The BMR extreme sway bars helps a lot too.

Coach,

We were so concerned about the front really coming up after Dave from Carteks Camaro went on the bumper at Bradenton last year. See the video:
http://www.cartek.net/videos/wheelstand2.mpg

We set my Hals on 12 (highest setting) and she is still cutting good 60's. If I put a set of wheelie bars on and lower the setting she could easily go in the 1.2x's. Wheelie bars are far from my future plans, however will are still working and getting the 60's down with out lowering the shock setting, ie; pinion angle, tire size, tire pressure.

Big Mike,

Thats cool.

I understand but 12 is so very high. I have not tried anything over 6. You are cutting killer 60fts.

This is why Madman handles my Suspension needs.

Good luck.

Org the pinion angle was set to -2 with me in the car. The car cut a 1.50 and that was the back tire 60ft. The travel limiters will be going on it and the back will get lowered a bit and fenders will get rolled as I was told that I will be able to cut 1.2x 60ft's soon with the car leaving 4-6" high on the launch so will see. Got one of the best chassis guy's here in H-town looking into it....Should be back to the track after the Holidays...The car only got a cracked oil pan thanks to me paddin the gas on that run so I managed to get away from any damage...

wheel stands may look cool as hell but you are wasting power lifting the front end in the air and driving the rear tires into the ground excessively. You don't have to set your suspention on "KILL" to hook. Thats why Big mike has his fronts set high and the rears set low. If traction is worse than normal the shocks can be tuned to correct it. Alot of you know this of course, and if anyone disagrees please educate me.
