228r install
I installed my cam and the car will crank but not stay cranked unless I hold my foot on the gas. I had the car tuned before and I'm sure that it needs to be tuned again. It has the stock ls1 intake, throtle body and injectors. It's a 99 trans-am. I just wanting to see what you guys think about it. I have 241 heads milled .30 and ported, headers and stall. I measured for pushrod length. When I had it tuned be the guy he said my mass air flow meter wasn't reading, but before the cam he tuned it to run great.

Yea they are lined up dot to dot. I havent messed with the mass airflow since he tuned it for me. I will mess with it a little more this weekend and see what i come up with.

Does the car sound like everything is right when it is running? Nothing is ticking, knocking, etc? Are there any SES lights on? If so, get a scanner and see what the codes are for. If everything sounds good and no codes then go ahead and run your heat cycles and get the thing tuned.

I would turn your throttle body set screw about half a turn to crack the throttle body blade to let more air in to the motor, your IAC may not be giving your motor enough air. Make sure to do a TPS relearn. Hopefully it will help get you by until you get to the tuner.
