Default Putting Together ProCharger Front Mount

I'm trying to find info on putting together everything I will need to install a front mount intercooler on my, soon to be, D1 equipped 02 Z28. A parts list and any pictures would be great. Thanks for any help.

if you can weld and cut metal then all you need is an intercooler(besides piping and couplers)

it is really simple to make a bracket to hang your intercooler from

do a search on here and it will give you a good idea of what needs to be done with lots of pictures

i used a piece of 5/16 x 1 1/2 strap to make my bracket and it is solid

Ebay piping and ebay intercooler. Retains stock fog lights. Intercooler has been bolted up since pic, lol, and I also had the cold piping welded up so theres as little couplings as possible.

What size piping is that? Is that how the piping comes (bends and length)?

You can probably find the whole kit used in the classifieds.

Here is my setup. Even though my intercooler is layed down horizontally, the piping should be the same since the inlet & outlet on my IC are in the same position at the bottom of the IC.

For more pictures along the lines of ChevyChad's horizontal setup, here are a few of mine.

I got the idea after seeing his thread that he posted a link to, it was very informative.

I never though about doing it horizontal, maybe I just love the look of the intercooler through the bumper lol

Can that horizontal mount work on a Camaro?

Don't see why it wouldn't. Just have to trim the bottom of the bumper a littleto get rid of the old mounting flap down there.

Though I always thought the camaros were well suited to adding a front mount standing up to. With the right grill insert I think they look good.

Does anyone know what the differences are between the EPP's FM kit and what people are piecing together? Better intercooler, piping, clamps etc.?
