how much power will a 6.0 short block handle?
1. how much will a lq4 or lq9 make rwhp? carbed with meth injection and a D1SC procharger? will upgrade rod bolts since that seems like a no brainer.
2. upgraded pistons? how much more hp?
3. upgraded rods?
4. upgraded pistons and rods?
just trying to plan my build as i look for a 6.0

if you are going to do anything to it might as well just forge it out. Not sure of how much but I think the 370 is basically one of those blocks forged so you maybe able to use that as a ballpark figure. You can ask Speedinc about it or one of the other sponsors. Sorry I can't give you more info but will try to steer you in the right direction. Also try looking at the sticky they may have some listed there.

it looks like I'm going to have to just bite the bullet and get forged rods and pistons so i don't break something and end up costing more money down the road. what rods and pistons do you recommend on a budget that will work with the 317 heads and will stand up to some boost?
