Default New clutch or attempt to rebalance the old one (pics)

I was having an rpm related vibration in my car, so I pulled the pressure plate today. I fired it up and the vibration was completely gone. This leads me to believe that the pressure plate or disc was causing the vibration. I am also having a clutch disengagement issue. A Tick master and new slave seemed to help immensely, but the problem still occurs after a couple of weeks a hard driving.

My question:

A) Should I attempt to rebalance the old setup and measure for a shim?

Or

B) Buy a whole new setup (monster is having a sale)?

That looks just like my clutch and flywheel I just took out of my 99Z28, it had 70K on it. I would just by a new one, looks like it was getting hot and is warped most likely, kinda like brake rotors do. I just ordered a monster level 3.

Get the Monster, you won't regret it. I had 23K on my level 3, then we just swapped to a level 6. I have about 2K on it, and I LOVE it! Plus they are on sale .

This clutch supposedly has about 20k miles on it, but you guys are probably right. Time for an upgrade.

Which one will last longer, level 2 or 3?

Ordered my monster last night! I looked into buying a new PP/disc and resurfacing my current flywheel and the monster was only $100 more. Can't wait!!

Cool, which one did you get. Regardless, you will love it after it's broken in.

I went with a stage 2. I figure I can finish amassing all the parts I need to build a forged motor by the time this clutch wears out. The Nitrous kit is sitting the the garage. It's hard to look at, but I have to be patient...

Did your vibration occur only within a certain rpm range or was it linear throughout?

I'm having a small vibration after a pretty hard lauch that caused an axle failure, but only between 2700-2900 rpm. Think it's in the clutch but haven't ran accross anyone that has experienced this.

My clutch is a centerforce dual friction/fidanza alluminum FW. How are you liking that stage 2?

thanks

You could feel the vibration just off idle to about 3000 rpm it was most prevalent. Occurred while not moving and with clutch in or out.

I have been busy with work and I'll probably put in my monster in the next few days.
