Default good street tires with above average grip??

I will be stalling up my car in the future but i wont hook worth a damn on the street...

What street tires do the best job on hooking on the street with a lets say 3600 stall??

Because right now my bone stock car goes sideways whenever i punch it from a dig...

I currently have a 3600 stall and have a traction problem aswell. Just picked up some 295 35 18 Goodyear gs-d3 to replace my 275 30 19 bfg kdw2. I'm hoping to have better results when I get around to installing. Anyone have experience or think I will hook better with the goodyears? I've heard good things bout the goodyears and hopfully will get a grip.

My Z28 at near stock hp blows the 285/40/17 GSD3's off when I nail it from digs. Stock converter.

Reason I bought gs d3 was the sale price. My 19" kdw2 wont hook for the life of them. I was prayin that switching over to a 18" diameter wider tire would help traction.

Doesn't look like TireRack has Nittos online.

Summit has 555Rs in that size for $165 each.

Be happy you didn't have your heart set on NT-01s! Those are $220 each for the same size! The Mickey Thompson ET Streets, which were mentioned above, are $205 each.

Now, the tires I want are $283 a piece.........
