Where does one go to get there car weighed at?

Generally your local transpost station will let you do it.

I go to the local dump, usually costs me $5 at most. Depends on who is working, a few times the hillbilly on duty told me it was free if I "let it rip" when I left. lol

Most reputable drag strips have a scale. Not sure what's close to Melbourne though.

local landfill or metal yard, or recycling yard will all do it for free or a $5-10. all depends who is at the gate

I'm sure Melbourne has a city dump or landfill in the area. Possibly check the city website for the location? They will have an accurate scale, it has to be calibrated daily by law.

remember tracks will vary on their weights depending on whether they are certified (being used before a big event, etc.). Truck stops have to be within a certain % but cost a little to use.
