It's junk. Send it to Yank and have it rebuilt and cleaned up.

Why are adapters welded to the feet? Why was it made in 01? so somebody let it sit for 8 years?

This is what the feet should look like

sorry to hear that man, I would be extremely pissed

I got lucky, the guy on here I got mine from was very honest and even helped talk me out of sending it in to be checked out before I installed it even though I had told him when I bought it I had planned the expense in. Saved me some time and money and the converter works great.

I would bet paypal takes care of you.

Thanks to everyone for your replies.

UPDATE:
As of 10:30am December 21st seller has not refunded any of the $550 i payed him. Seller has not responded to my dispute I filled on Paypal even thou he had more than enough time to bash me on this board, blow me off on PMs, cussed me out in those same PMs and even text messages. All of this will be used as evidence since i have now filled a claim with Paypal.

I will post an update as the Paypal claim progresses.

If he doesn't respond to the dispute in paypal, aren't you just refunded anyway?

Been a loooong time since I've ever had to deal with a dispute though.

IVe dealt with crooks like this and they lie. Dont believe anything the seller sez. He knew he was selling a bunch of junk. Go to the police right away before the seller gets a chance to move

UPDATE
As of tonight i have received a full refund on my purchase. The converter will be going back tommorow.

I would like the thank fastass2000 for coming thru. It turns out the Paypal resolution center was a waist of time.

To sum this up there was a bad part, misunderstandings and break downs in communication happend, BUT at the end of the day the situation was corrected and i can't be happier about it. This is more than enough evidence for me to says that fastass2000 is a stand up seller

I know it's all over but that converter needs a new hub. Those score marks are a sign that something broke and scored it. I had the same thing on my Vig when the pump blew. PI replaced the hub and freshened up the converter. Glad you got it taken care of though.
