Question t-tops shifted? car body flexed?

wasn't sure where to post this, forgive me. My girl friend actually pointed this out to me. There's usually an equal gap (small but still there) on both sides of the t top panels. How ever mine on the drivers side there's no gap at the front an a big one towards the back. i'll take pictures if needed, i don't know how to word it. My question is when taking a corner hard did i permanently flex my body out of shape or something? did the t top flex, break or something? It's an 02 T/a if that's relevant.

You run 'em hard, and stuff is going to shift around. That's like the rear fender dimples that start appearing on some fourth-gen 'birds that have been drag raced hard.

I didn't mean put them on there to fix it, I meant to say sfc's would have prevented that.

I suggest to post pics. Also before calling out a twisted frame issue make sure the t-tops themselves are aligned since they could be all there is wrong with your car.

i can get pictures up tomorrow, you mean of the gap i'm talking about right? Like i said, My driver side t top has a gap and the sound of air coming through the window has increased alot. I thought the weather stripping has finally gone bad but now i think it's related to the t top not sitting correct.

How would you Align the t top?

I fit's only one I would shoot for aligning it first. You could hypothetically twist it enough to only throw one off, but I doubt it. It's really not very easy to permanently twist the car that much. The cars flex, but shouldn't permanently twist that far without being involved in an accident or being VERY severely raced at generally well beyond the limits of stock suspension
