Default pcv connection that goes into valve cover

I did my ls6 intake today and I noticed that my hose that goes into the passengers side was cracked. so i plugged both of the valve cover connections with plugs. will I be ok to run it like that for now?

You mean the hose that goes from the TB port to the pass valve cover vent port?

That hose blows air into that valve cover at WOT to put fresh air into the crankcase. Really no big deal to run without it. You'll still have the oull of vacuum from the intake to evacuate blow-by.

Well that hose is one piece and only connects to the pass side valve cover.

What do you mean when you say you don't have connections to the cover(s).

Is your drivers side valve cover vent port in the rear of that valve cover also capped?

Do you have 2 vent ports on the passenger side valve cover, or just the one that connects to the TB port?

Oh, yeah no problem at all to drive around like that for just a day. If you drive short distances you may get some white goopy **** under the oil fill cap that builds up from moisture. But one day is meaningless.

So, what is the vacuum line connected too? Or did you cap it also for now? Which is also fine for just a day or two.

So if you capped both valve cover ports, what is the vacuum sucking...just sucking atmosperic air into the intake.

Yup, just cap the intake vacuum port till you get the new hose.
