it's wired in with the headunit plug.. but it isn't attached to anything.

what is this for?

so i guess it's not hooked up then.. any way to use it without the stock hu?

if your car came with hte monsoon system or not hte car will still have that hardness.

as for can you plug it in if you dont have a stock radio nope you cant you dont need it.

so can i just pull the monsoon amp out of the rear and unplug it without effecting anything?

No, that plug is not for the Monsoon amp. If it were, you would be getting no sound at all (tweeters only in a Firebird). And no, the Monsoon harness is not installed in non-Monsoon vehicles.

That harness is for the optional CD changer in the back of the car. All Monsoon systems had the changer harness installed even if they didn't come with a changer from the factory (it could be dealer installed). The other end of the harness is wrapped in foam and taped to the left hatch speaker wires.

ahhh i got confuse then. i remember if was something (though it was the monsoon system) and I remember that all cars had that plug no matter what.
